Lesson Hierarchy
The lessons link on the left border of all pages within the eBusiness Systems
Development on-line course will take you to a high level menu (shown below) of
course topics. Click on 'notes' to view a pdf file for notes of that
lesson.

Lesson 1 - Introduction to Database (shown below) and Lesson 2 - Relational Model
have links to an Introduction of the current lesson, a Presentation, and an End
of the chapter Test. In addition, Lesson 1 and Lesson 2 both have
mini-quizzes at the end of each sub-section. In Lesson 3, you will learn
how to create
predefined tables. In Lesson 4, you will have hands-on experience and build queries to manipulate the data.
In Lesson 5, you will be introduced to PL/SQL, Oracle's ANSI standard
programming language. Users should do lessons 1 - 5 in sequential order.
Presentations
Click 'Presentation' to go to a table of contents of the
presentations for the current lesson (shown below).
Click on a presentation title (e.g. Relational Model) and the
presentation will open up in another window (shown below). Click 'Play'
to view this audio and visual lecture through the web interface.
Click on 'Script' to view/print a version of the audio script in .pdf (Adobe Acrobat format) if you would like to follow along. You may need to download Acrobat reader.
Click on 'Slides' to view/print PowerPoint slides to supplement your note taking.
Quizzes
You can open the quizzes in two ways: (1) click the quiz link of a lesson's
table of contents to
jump to the specified page or (2) click the quiz link that appears at the top
and bottom in the
sub-lesson (shown below).
Upon selection of quiz answers, responses will appear informing you of your accuracy and the justification for correct and incorrect answers. You will then
need to click 'Next question' to proceed to the next question.
Tests
You can open the tests in two ways: (1) click 'Tests' on the left frame of every page to view a
test menu (shown below) or (2) click 'Test' in a lesson's table of contents to jump to the specified page.
