As a Chief Technologist in the Communications Media & Entertainment (CME) Business Unit’s CTO Office, Chris is responsible for leading technological innovation in support of HP’s unparalleled range of technologies, devices, solutions, and integration services for network, service, and content providers. The CME business is focused on helping the world’s top service, content and equipment providers to successfully and profitably meet the demands of the hundreds of millions of wireline and wireless subscribers worldwide for voice, data and rich media services.
Chris has 20 years of cross-industry progressive experience where he has successfully coordinated businesses, business units with technology units and increase alignment of current and future services.
Prior to joining Hewlett-Packard, he worked for Applied Reasoning as a VP of Services. While in this role Chris as responsible for provided strategic leadership and management of customer projects. He was also a Principal Network Design Engineer for Sprint and a Wireless Network Engineer for Motorola.
Chris has the ability to analyze user needs, develop technical strategies, articulate project vision, present opportunities, and implement successful national projects. With these skills, he guides the process of analyzing the customer’s strategic business requirements and applies this analysis to the implementation of solutions to answer the needs of HP’s business partners’ customers.
Chris holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration degree focused on Management Information Systems from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame.
Chris Mankle resides in Overland Park, KS, USA, with his wife, Elaine and 4 children.
