Jerry Wang, Systems Analyst: Deloitte Consulting

After graduation, Jerry joined Deloitte Consulting as a Systems Analyst. Currently, he is working on a Project Management Office that will facilitate a $70 million infrastructure/data warehousing project at a telecom company. At the same time, he is working on SAP CRM training modules and support.
He began his career by co-founding a service company that provided a web-based CRM solution to small-tiered businesses. He developed a five-year business plan with extensive market research and realistic valuations. Jerry was also responsible for company presentations to potential investors and advisors. In addition, he directed all marketing efforts and forged strategic alliances with potential partners.
In addition to other jobs, one unique experience that stands out about Jerry was his initiative to go overseas right after graduation to be a teacher. He developed an extensive business elective including workshops such as interviewing, résumé writing, entrepreneurship, project management, finance, and marketing by lecturing 200 Chinese university graduates on conversational business English and other business topics. Jerry also conducted group projects and group exercises for real world simulations and translated technical IT speeches from English to Mandarin Chinese in front of 600 university students.
