Michael Clifford is Vice President, Chief Information Officer of Whole Foods Market, Inc. Mr. Clifford has been with Whole Foods since September 2000.
Prior to Whole Foods, Michael served as Senior I/T Executive for Electronic Commerce and Back Office Systems for Dell Computer's Americas Public and International Business. He held the additional title of CIO for Dell's Global Service Systems, where he was responsible for the development and deployment of Service Systems technologies for all Dell Businesses and Regions. At one time at Dell, he was responsible for all their Sales and Services I/T systems.
Before joining Dell in February 1997, he served as Director of Information Technology for Pepsi-Cola North America in Somers, New York.
Michael brings 23 years of progressive experience in virtually all aspects of Information Technology Management to his role at Whole Foods. He is a graduate of Columbia University.
