What work brought you to your job today?

From being a busboy to teaching introductory ballroom dance classes--no work in particular drove me to Microsoft. What got me here was the people around me and what I learned from them.

What do you do in your current job?

My team drives the hardware standards for employees around the world; we test and certify all hardware, manage end-to-end fulfillment, and provide tier 3 support. Throughout this process, we provide feedback to both the hardware manufacturers and Microsoft product groups alike. I handle the print business and work closely with the latest print devices and solutions in the industry. My feedback at Microsoft influences future product design and technology standards for prin-ting. :)

What do you value from your MIS education?

My grasp on the value of technology.

What is your advice for current students?

Don't be intimidated if you're not a coding superstar; do your best to gain a strong technical background, but focus on your strengths and you'll find your way to success.
