What work brought you to your job today?

Worked as a consultant in the Bay Area and transferred back to Texas to work in the IT department for 3 years while earning my degree part time.

What do you do in your current job?

I am currently working in Deloitte's Technology Integration line. I am working on a broad scale SAP implementation for a multinational Aerospace and Defense company. I currently define and assign end users to security roles based on business function.

What do you value from your MIS education?

I value the work ethic it gave me and the ability for me to learn on my own. I also appreciate the tight knit community that it gives me to this day.

What is your advice for current students?

Stick with it! Don't give into market or peer pressure of the cyclical nature of technology. When it comes down to it, jobs in IT are fast paced, fun, and exciting.
