What work brought you to your job today?

My MIS degree plus my experience as a Consultant at various consulting companies and as an IT Analyst at Temple-Inland/Guaranty Bank.

What do you do in your current job?

Serve as IT Analyst, Business Analyst, and Project Manager in the 3M IT Software Development and Integration group.

What do you value from your MIS education?

Strong database and software development courses, broad knowledge in all areas of business, ability to take enough electives to allow me to minor in Speech Communication, and the fabulous faculty who continue to make it the best MIS program in the country!

What is your advice for current students?

Enjoy your time at UT, as it is a very unique time of your life! Take any courses you can fit in that interest you.
