What work brought you to your job today?

I joined Coopers and Lybrand as a consultant within their Technology Strategy practice. Over the next 8 years, working with a wide range of industries and customers, I became a Principal within PricewaterhouseCoopers (once they merged) continuing in the Technology Strategy practice within their Management Consulting Division. I joined Lombardi Software in 2000 as a Consulting Manager. I took over the Global Professional Services team in 2004 and grew it to a world-wide organization of over 50 FTE's and 40 contract employees.

What do you do in your current job?

I currently have responsibility for all of the Services within our customers and specifically run a worldwide team of Client Partners responsible for the Services relationships within our major accounts. The Client Partner team targets overall customer success and adoption of our software and finds revenue opportunities within those accounts.

What do you value from your MIS education?

I was able to learn the foundation of technology and how it works within the business world which led to a great first job developing IT strategies for large corporations.

What is your advice for current students?

Learn to apply the technical expertise you learn to real-world business problems, focusing on business value.
