Past database administration work in the consulting industry.

What do you do in your current job?

Oracle database consulting - building a consulting practice of Oracle professionals.

What do you value from your MIS education?

Being taught methodology. Relational database classes.

What is your advice for current students?

People say the IT jobs are all going overseas, but I see my clients struggling to find qualified IT people, so the opportunity is out there. Except for the 1991 recession, I've been employed steadily and valued by my clients.
